How I Got Into Cubing

Hello, my name is Noah. I first got into cubing when I saw a video with Feliks Zemdegs 4.73 world record, and also when I solved my teachers class Rubik’s Cube with the Rubik’s Cube solver.
This really sparked an interest for me, so every day for a week, I sat under a tree at recess and used the beginner’s method, which I printed, to solve My teachers cube over and over, until I had the algorithms memorized. Then, I convinced my parents to let me get a cube of my own, a MoYu Aolong G2. This let me practice on my own, and I am currently learning advance CFOP.
I think that cubing is an awesome hobby, and I am looking to take it in as a sport. I am getting faster, and really enjoy it, even though my dad thinks it’s a waste of time. I also know how to solve a 2×2, and pyraminx. I love this, and hope I can get better. Thanks! Noah.
